T-Shirts from SustainU

From March to December 2019 I had an internship at SustainU Clothing, a small T-shirt design and printing company. They do work for a lot of Appalachia-based events and businesses, as well as Major League Baseball. Most of my work consisted of converting designs for various games and teams, but as time went on I also worked on the monthly T-Shirt Club. Each month, subscribers received unique themed shirts for their favorite teams.

Working with the MLB has presented a lot of new and unexpected challenges as a designer; heavy style guides and an extremely strict trademarks department make even coming up with feasible ideas difficult. On the other hand, limitation inspires innovation, and I think my designs working here are among my best.
